Captain Serpa was dedicated to the Leadership Stockton Program from the day of his graduation in 1996. He was instrumental is assisting with the Justice System session each year, as well as supporting numerous Leadership
Stockton and Leadership Stockton Alumni Association events and projects. Chris was a Past President and Board Member of the Leadership Stockton Alumni Association and recipient of their Distinguished Graduate Award for Community Service in 2000. We thank him for his years of dedication to the program. He will be truly missed.
In 2006, the Leadership Stockton Alumni Association established the Captain Chris Serpa Memorial Scholarship providing tuition assistance for future Leadership Stockton applicants. Scholarship are available for members of the community, who are accepted to attend Leadership Stockton, to assist in deferring the costs of the tuition.
